What We Believe

We believe in God, the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic (one true) Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

In addition, we believe that hearing God’s voice is a very real part of having a relationship with Him. It is both Biblical and vital. Being led by the Holy Spirit is essential to life in Christ.  Training and equipping believers to hear God’s voice is a vital part of discipling them. To enable them to be able to encourage, strengthen and comfort others through hearing God’s voice is a very real part of being a disciple of Jesus and living in His Kingdom.

We believe that the church is not a building or institution but a family where people live and grow together.
