A day of spiritual refreshment and practical activities.
Topics include:
- Operating from a place of rest as we come, receive, embrace and release God’s whispers.
- A variety of activities practising listening to God for different aspects of daily life.
- A safe environment in sharing a word with another in prophetic ministry.
- Based on Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Time frame: Runs best as an all-day workshop from 9.45am-4.00pm (9.45am-12.30 and 1.15-4pm)
Cost: A love offering and any associated expenses (if applicable).
Resting Together in God’s Whispers: This facilitated retreat provides an opportunity to enjoy the Lord and listen to Him for ourselves and others. Based around the motif of rest, we learn to come, receive, embrace and release God’s word from a place of rest. It is preferable (but not essential) that attendees have experienced one of our foundation workshops on hearing God’s Whispers or have a Biblical and practical grasp on how God speaks, as this day will be a practical day. There will be take home resources available from the booklet table that cover the foundations of hearing God.
